Full Loss of Masculinity and I can't get Enough!
When I first started watching The Bachelor several years ago (think Andrew Firestone) and every season thereafter, I have always felt a piece of my masclinity die away with each episdoe. When I found this podcast it all went away...and you know what??? I don't care. Emma and Claire bring such a "snarky" (their words) and almost catty sense of humor in breaking down all of the delicious moments of each episode. It has almost gotten to the point where I look more forward to refreshing my Ipod and seeing a new episode of the Here to Make Friends podcast as opposed to actually watching The Bachelor. One of the hosts is engaged (not sure if it's Emma or Claire) and I hope marriage doesn't mar her Bachelor analysis. As for the other one, well I'm available!!! Just the right amount of snark dished up by two articulate co-hosts who can actually form complete, coherent sentences without a lot of “likes,” “you-knows” and “umms.” Some expletives used, but not excessive. I feel like you could record ANY two sorority girls talking about the bachelorette and get this exact show. Zero insight or analysis and peppered with "omg" reactions. Weak. For the record, I know not all sorority girls fit the stereotype but this show does.Read full review »
