Satan attacks a righteous man named Job, and Job and his friends argue about why terrible things are happening to him. The book of Job serves as an example of how the righteous are not immune to suffering. Even more, we see God’s creative power, wisdom, and authority. Because God made the universe, we can trust that He knows how to rule it.
