In the book of Daniel the Babylonians have attacked Jerusalem, taking many Jewish captives including Daniel. He is loyal to his God and wise beyond his years, being able to interpret visions and dreams. Daniel’s gifts testify of God’s sovereignty and His providential oversight of historical events in the time of the Old Testament.
