Mark records Jesus’ life: His miracles, betrayal, death, resurrection, and commission. However, Mark’s Gospel is very brief and focuses more on things Jesus did than things Jesus said. Luke’s Gospel is the longest book in the New Testament. Being a detailed historian who researched everything, Luke tells Jesus’ story in extensive detail, more than any other Gospel.
