It is okay to get distracted. We all get distracted all the time, as our mind jumps from one ocean of thought to the next. We can recognize this distraction, and let it fade away with our breath.
This technique is called the Body Scan, and we use it to help very sick children take control of their mind and body to empower them to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We can learn from them, and use it, too.
