I stumbled upon this Podcast series recently after following Jonathan Haight’s talk about the extreme polarity happening in the society today. This series has awaken my inner humanists and the yearn for opening the dialogues between today’s society divide. I hope we can bring your program to New...Read full review »

Great interview with Alexandra Lysova. Anyone interested in the work of HxA should listen to this. She has done some awesome work in moving the needle.

Great topics and interesting guests. However, at times frustrating to listen, speakers interrupt each other, and I feel that the host wants to talk and drive conversation too much. I listen to hear the guests speak, and am less engaged when the host interrupts or overly tries to “keep things on...Read full review »

But I wish the host would stop misusing the word, “blog.”

Great podcast. Interesting and insightful analysis of significant issues in society today. Eschews easy answers and 1-variable analysis used in many political talking points and instead asks and answers hard questions using reasoning and facts. Very nice.

We need to hear more from Jon Haidt and Heterodox Academy. I hope more people will learn to listen to those with whom they disagree and try to find common ground.

Outstanding first episode with Jonathan Haidt. I had read this article when it first came out and the audio version makes it easily shareable for those with less time to read. I appreciate the work of Heterodox Academy and look forward to more to come.

I took one of Professor Haidt’s classes at NYU and have always admired his approach and his dedication. This really shines through in their first episode. The shorter format is digestible for all and (I suspect) a good intro into the work of the various authors and scholars who will participate.
