“I got excited when I heard NPR was adding a social science podcast to its roster. As an avid podcast listener and lover of social sciences I began to look forward to hidden brain. Unfortunately, it's just another podcast dealing with easy, accessible psychology with a smattering of sociology. In other words, the same tired, unchallenging, aspects of social science which get trumpeted over and over because of their relative "marketability." And as others have said, the delivery of the content leaves much to be desired.
