Marilyn Sheppard was a married woman with a child and another one on the way when she was murdered by a white figure as described by her husband Sam Sheppard (the only person to see her attacker and live). Though he was found guilty of the murder he would later be found not guilty. His case was so big it was the inspiration behind the show and movie The Fugitive.
