Season 2 Please
I loooove good audio storytelling, and Hi-Phi Nation delivers in a big way. Hi-Phi Nation isn't overselling itself by comparing itself to This American Life and Radiolab. For a podcast made almost solely by Barry Lam, Hi-Phi has the polished feel and deep humanity of shows produced by much larger teams at Gimlet or NPR. Lam takes on current controversies by connecting them to Big Ideas in philosophy, but never in a way that feels oversimplified. I recomend if you like 99% Invisible or Revisionist History.Read full review »

It is difficult to pull of a compelling story in which serious and complex ideas are well integrated and don't appear as mere ornaments to the narrative. Barry Lam is doing an excellent job in making this show work, not just once, but consistently.Read full review »

Uses quality journalism to illuminate philosophical issues. Currently my most anticipated podcast. Makes me deeply regret not taking a class with Professor Lam when I had a chance!
