Terrible Podcast
The idea for this podcast is great, but that's where any appeal ends. The script is absolutely atrocious. It is terribly written, un-researched, and cartoonish. The voice actors are even worse. While I fully understand that voices in an audible medium have to be unique, every single voice sounds as if the actor is trying to mock the departed. Each voice is done in either a grating tone, terrible accent, or often both. The result is cheap, lazy, and above all, terribly insulting to the dead. The hosts seem to show a modicum of respect by doing their own (less cartoonish) voices in the Kurt Cobain episode, but the whole thing comes off terribly considering they are telling the story of a tragic suicide in the recent past. The hosts go as far as to blame Cobain for the copycat suicides of a number of his fans and suggest that he may have done it for some sort of glory rather than as a result of crippling lifelong depression. Absolutely disgusting, especially considering his wife and daughter are still very much alive. I honestly believe that every good review must be written by a friend or family of someone involved. The dialogue is corny - written and executed. So cornball that the podcast is somehow pleasant and uncomfortable to listen to.

Great info, well researched. But the voice acting is terrible. Recently listened to the Napoleon episode - it was like they were all doing bad Pepe le Pew imitations. It was unnatural to the point of embarrassment.
