Embarrassingly Bad
As a student of history, a Beatles fanatic and a professional voice actor, I can report that this podcast is embarrassing and inaccurate in so many ways. I just (tried) to listen to the John Lennon episode and found myself exclaiming my incredulity out loud at some of the awful banter between the hosts, the terribly acted reenactments and historical inaccuracies in John's life story. Apocryphal stories from John's childhood are presented here as fact. The actors playing John, his wife, and Mother and Father don't even attempt to do a Liverpudlian or British accent and the dialogue is cringeworthy. Whomever they've hired to voice the reenactment portions are just terrible. An American accent for John Lennon for goodness sake?! Steer clear of this audio 'Little Golden Book of History,' obviously aimed at clueless Millennials and dopes.Read full review »

More reviews of Historical Figures
I enjoy this podcast immensely. It's great to hear about the weird events leading up to a death of a celebrity and the timeline in which things happened. Well done :)!Read full review »
