I love them so much

Very impressed with the hosts so far. I’m excited to see where they’ll go from here

I was a big fan of histories, mysteries, and conspiracies so I am so glad that Skye brought the podcast back but with a new face! I’m excited for the addition of a permanent co host and so far it’s been fun listening to them banter. I love how this podcast is short and sweet. We still get that...Read full review »

Very hard to focus on the stories when commentators laugh their way through every sentence. Sounds more like a couple girls gossiping than an educational podcast. Both seem to have very minimal historical knowledge.
AlecOgden50 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/29/21
This is an example of the failure of the US education system. Neither of these girls should’ve made it out of middle school yet one claims to have a Master’s Degree 🤷. What a waste of tuition!

You know those terrible pods, where the hosts think they’re ‘funny’ and ‘clever’ and giggle and titter and are generally irritating….well, this is one of those pods. This female lead pod screeches and wails and increasingly frustrates in its ohh-so-modern ‘calling all the ladies’ attitude. Agh....Read full review »

Like non factual but pretty entertaining like ladies

Listening to the Dyatlov Pass episode. The hosts have giggled their way thru and mispronounced so many words. Ill-prepared, random incoherent ramblings. Cant take another minute of the ridiculous commentary.

Entertaining for what it is.

I don’t understand why there are negative comments. This podcast is my new fave. You guys did a great segment on princess Di.

Tons of mispronunciations, many points that are poorly researched or not mentioned at all. Worst podcast I’ve listened to.
Roxiemonoxide via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/27/20
If you are after anything that resembles a history podcast - don’t bother. The girl ( Megan) has a half decent attempt - but the guy ( no idea of his name) is like that weird uncle at a family gathering who has early onset dementia and randomly interjects with unrelated questions or just repeats...Read full review »

Like seriously like gag me like with a like spoon. Like.
CTC1181 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/03/20
Just another show I can’t listen to because they use the word “like” every 5-10 words. Weak 👎🏼
rob3773 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/27/20
I think this is really interesting. I am a writer who is intrigued by the subjects you discuss. I like the fact that when your talking about a serious matter you add a bit of humor somewhere. I have read some of the comments and some people bash you, and that’s hard, I know that you aren’t...Read full review »

A lot of people seem to dislike the hosts because of... the way that they talk? And because they have higher pitched voices so they must be highschoolers? Its entertainment, not everything needs to be a five hour long case analysis, it is meant to be something to listen to. Plus it is free. Some...Read full review »

Eh
Seems like every episode talks about how bad white people are. No thanks.
Bernard Coy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/19/20
I can’t listen to them cause of how they use these 3 words in every sentences. They sound like a bunch of uneducated high schoolers trying to make a podcast. Like you know how and So. Please use proper grammar.
unknown2588 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/12/20
Wow, like, this is the most annoying podcast , like EVER! Sounds like they make up most of their “facts” as they go along.
Frankito-Gol via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/11/19
This podcast was great. These two need to expand their research but I’d listen to more.

No
I can’t listen to a podcast that uses Wikipedia as their main source. Yikes.

Horrible , I can’t stand the way they talk, What a joke of a podcast. The hosts are TERRIBLE.
Bed128903 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/18/19
They can’t even read their poorly researched information. With the fact there is so much information regarding this subject, there was no need to make up facts. Too bad they got fired from Walmart and McDonald’s. Because they believe they are smart enough to do a podcast. But how hard is it to...Read full review »

The people that put on this Freakshow can hardly read? They read off of Wikipedia or something? and cannot even pronounce words. And then the other guy that talks on this podcast laughs at everything like he’s mentally challenged? I think they’re on something? It’s the strangest podcast I’ve ever...Read full review »

Skye is such an engaging and fun host, never talks over her guests, and does a fantastic job and some great research on some truly fascinating topics.

This is a fun podcast that is meant to scratch the surface on a variety of interesting topics. Having the topics be presented by people who do not claim to be experts provides an oppurtunity for the podcasters to connect to the casual listener without being too overbearing or being drown in...Read full review »

Saw the title thought it would be fun. I was quickly wrong. The voices and the lack of history are mixture for disaster. Couldn’t stand the sharply sound noise. The “history” they shared sounded like a high school kid reading his history essay In front of the class as they tried to put humor in...Read full review »

Well researched and great host!

A little research is required to do a podcast like this. I thought it was ok until I listened to the Roanoke episode. Do a little homework, and learn to pronounce names before taping an episode.
SnowyJP via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/31/19
This podcast had a lot of potential but the woman who is hosting it should be more confident in herself. She was frequently distracted by the male “sidekick” who frequently interrupted to make unneeded commentary. At one point, they both discussed the fact that neither of them new what an attaché...Read full review »

I started with the Battle for LA episode, good discussion. This information needs to reach younger and younger demographics. Then we will see a change for the better in being able to openly talk about it without the “conspiracy theory” stigmata hanging over every subject. 🤙🏽

Nothing more cringe worthy then a bunch of hippie fraternity girls, sitting around giggling into microphones. Oh wait this podcast! Haha unless you like drinking Smirnoff Ice and having sexy pillow fights don’t indulge in this podcast.

Fun informative and light hearted. As someone who has immersed myself in the belly of the beast of conspiracies and gotten lost in there it’s refreshing to see a casual, informative, and light hearted analysis of things that are usually none of the above. Even hard topics and events are made easy...Read full review »

Surprising! This podcast is a great introduction into various mysteries and conspiracies. I was truly surprised by the amount of research the hosts had done into the subjects of their episodes. Good if you are semi-aware of a myth/mystery etc. but want more details. Loved the intro music!
Suz0158 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/23/19
So here for the history but even more for the conspiracies!!! Absolutely love this podcast. It’s a great listen and not drawn out! It’s detailed but still interesting. I cannot stop listening.
