“My only hope for the hosts is to extend their research into history of marginalized people. I understand it’s not something you realize you’re missing until it’s pointed out.
Here is where I recently found issue:
At first I took issue with an episode that covered history of dentures. The host covered that some dentures were human teeth, but failed to include where many of those teeth came from: enslaved people. I thought, "okay they must be using research that is whitewashed" and didn't hold it against them. However today I listened to the episode 405: Haunted Guam and was livid at their siding with Spanish colonialists. "Took out 90% of their (indigenous) population and all because this Jesuit missionary baptized the chiefs daughter and he got angry about it. Otherwise Spain was like 'oh we'll put a few people there and leave it alone"
Are you kidding me?? It’s far more than “sad””Read full review »

“I'm a history buff who loves any paranormal story associated with a time, place, or person, so this podcast is very entertaining to me. Great job ladies, I hope you make it to San Antonio soon. You could spend a week here, and find enough material for an entire month. ~jill”Read full review »
