Fantastic and educational
Whether one is religious or not, it is much easier to understand many Western societies if you understand the Bible. Garry is totally upfront that he is not trying to be objective (after demonstrating the utter silliness of the idea of "objectivity") and representing the views of a group of modern scholars. That is what makes this podcast really stand out. Well, that and it's humor, scholarship and his very good delivery. Worth a listen for everyone.Read full review »

More reviews of History in the Bible
This didn't contain what I expected: ie. insights into biblical archeology, history, language and understanding the cultures of the ancient world.
