Was good, but then...
I honestly didn't mind Travis' rambling style in the beginning. I listen to podcasts while I'm doing things like cleaning, exercising, driving, etc. I'm not looking for a college degree in German history. I appreciate whatever German history information I can get on a topic other than WW2 and you can definitely tell Travis is passionate about this topic and enjoys it. If there are things in the podcast he doesnt cover, then I can go look it up. I don't need anything exhaustive. The sound quality is good. However, once the lady was added, I was hoping this was a one-time or occasional thing. For some reason, something that was somewhat disjointed has only gotten worse. Switching back and forth between the two narrators hasn't helped. There is a lot of repetition of the same information and way too many "yeah's" followed by awkward silence. What was once enjoyable has turned annoying and all I can remember from the pocasts now are the pauses, "yeah", and the mispronounced English words. Go back to the old format and use guest speakers occasionally, not just because they have a German accent. Then just ignore the haters about the rambling style, it was ok.Read full review »

I had To downgrade my review 😢 The Line: „But where is the narrative? The podcast is stuck somewhere in the high-middle-ages.“ doesn‘t only still hold truth, it even got worse. The narrative still is not continued. And if the podcast was over all bad, that wouldn‘t be a problem. You’d just stop...Read full review »
