Just as dry as the Holy Land
I LOVE Sharyn's dry humor approach to the Crusades. Not only is the podcast thoroughly researched, she does a good job breaking down the events and characters into absorbable story arcs. Her Python-esque humor is a perfect fit for the era (though I am still waiting for the Holy Hand Grenade episode). Bravo!Read full review »

More reviews of History of the Crusades
The Crusades were never covered in any history class I took in school or college, so I'm enjoying this podcast immensely. I look forward to each episode and find them entertaining, informative, and just packed with enough information that I don't feel overwhelmed. Fantastic job!Read full review »

This podcast is give in a well spoken voice with decent intro music and with a sense of humour. The content so far is pretty typical of the crusades without anything too controversial, not a criticism, see 5 star rating.
