“As an avid listener of history podcasts, I am always surprised how entertaining and well researched history can be presented. Take History That Doesn’t Suck by Greg Jackson e.g.
German history up to now lacked the entertainment aspect completely, probably because if something is gun, we Germans instinctively suspect that it’s useless.
FINALLY this podcast comes around, and lo and behold, it IS well researched and fun to listen to.
With the pace it’s going now (54 years in 8 episodes), it will take about 159 episodes to get to 1990 - so at least 3 years if fun ahead.”
