“I got to episode 22 before the bias perspective has annoyed me enough to write this review. In this episode the author speaks of the callous German actions of using gas and chemical warfare. He speaks of how they actually gassed themselves, which he then goes against by complimenting the generals for retreating.
I have sat there for 22 episodes of the author speaking of everyone’s mistakes, bar the Germans and this ignorant bias is now engulfing the podcast. It is typical for an American to have little understanding of European history and culture, which we all respect and understand here and I can only hope this ignorance isn’t leading to a narrative where he will try and depict the Americans as beating the Germans and ending the war. So many young, brave and poor European souls died in this war that I find it offensive to be so ignorantly leaning towards one side, SO BEWARE. It’s a shame too because without this bias the podcast is thorough and interesting, I just can’t stand to listen to someone speak of how intelligent and brave the losing side was in this war without reflecting it to the Russians, the French and the British.”
