2nd Battle of Passchendaele - Oct 30, 1917
Via my recent genealogy research, I discovered that my great-uncle Leo Victor Curley (1897-1917), a member of The Canadian Army, was killed on Oct. 30, 2017 during the 3rd Battle of Ypres (2nd Battle for Passchendaele), in Belgium, and he is buried at the nearby Tyne Cot Cemetery. Thank you for enlightening me about the history of this battle and helping me better understand his sacrifice, the difficulty his Divison faced, and the terrible loss of so many lives for the cost of freedom.

I like the idea of tracking the events of the War in approx timeline, it gives a real feel for how it unfolded and adds a new dimension to this 100 year old major event that has shaped our world. Well presented - keep it up.
