Very poor
Why Mr. Livesay could not be bothered to check pronunciations before embarking on such a big undertaking is beyond me. From the initial episode, when he pronounced French Guyana with a soft ‘G’ (really?) I knew I was in for a thoroughly mediocre experience. The rest of the podcasts confirmed this opinion. From Joffre to Charleroi, his mangling of any foreign name or place is is painful.

One of my favourite podcasts! I love how it tells the greater picture of all the events of the first world war in combination with personal horror stories the man faced back then. Also, Wesley has one of the better podcast voices that have heard lately. I look forward every week to the new episode.
