Dull monotone lecture
I think he usually reads notes he wrote. He is one person telling us his history of the papacy from his perspective. He seems to be discussing from an Eastern or Greek Orthodox perspective. He doesn't include any listener feedback and has no interviews with other credible sources. He has opinions and biases which come through loud and clear. One has to keep in mind that he is does not seem to believe in the validity of the Pope when he delivers his Podcast, he is just preaching his version of history. He doesn't use interesting story telling method to keep me awake. He just drones on. I listened to his podcasts on double speed. He talks quite slowly. I found a much more interesting series on EWTN that used story telling and kept my attention. (The Glory of the Papacy) I think if you want to know about Catholicism, ask Catholics. If you want to know about Eastern Orthodoxy, ask Eastern Orthodox. I hope he talks about the History of the Patriach. That would make sense to me.Read full review »

Good podcast. The problem with the sound is fixed by episode three.

This is much more than the history of the popes. The examination of the early church has been fascinating and presented in a really good way.
