A grand romp through the history of the Church
This is much more than a history of the Popes. It's also a history of the church and of the development of Christian theology. To give you some idea of the detail here, he spent 10 episodes just on the council of Nicaea. Steve also throws in sidetrack episodes whenever some topic takes his fancy that doesn't really fit into the linear historical narrative.
