“Very interesting podcast for those with an interest in the history of Christianity. Steve presents the origins and development of the Christian faith from a historical perspective rather than a theological one.
It's not clear whether Steve himself is Christian or not, which is to his great credit in my opinion since the podcast is both respectful of religion yet his dicsussions are based on evidence rather than faith. My only slight criticisms would be in relation to the sound quality and narrating style, which are a little rough around the edges (at least up to Ch 20, the point I have reached), but this is to be expected for the beginning of an amateur podcast. All in all though, I'm enoying the series tremendously. Many thanks, Steve!”Read full review »

“This podcast really grows on you as it immerses you in the rich story of not just the Popes, but also history, theology, architecture and much more. Also the way it threads various topics together doesn't let you get stuck in one aspect for too long - so making this educational and entertaining!”Read full review »
