An Invaluable Addition to the Podcasting World
Steve's podcast set out to tackle an important topic and it has been a joy to listen as he has gotten more confident and practiced as both a historian and a podcaster. Early episodes have rough patches but as the show develops Steve really comes into his own and isn't that half the fun of listening to a podcast? The material itself is of inestimbale value for anyone looking to understand European history with any kind of depth, and Steve delivers quality narrative story telling while still balancing his sources and their veracity, not an easy skill. really interesting, except for the episode regarding biblical canon. Why was Dr Robert Price asked to do this? Its not that i dont respect his opinion, its just that his views and the Jesus Seminar views are rejected by 99% of scholars. I was late in discovering this podcast-but now feel I have uncovered a treasure trove of listening! I am so impressed with the depth of this series and highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in history and the place of Christianity in the development of world history.
