But since ancient times, women have been struggling to nurse, feeling societal pressures and shame to breast feed or to hand their infants to wet nurse or to bottle feed. And hearing a great many men’s opinions on what they should and shouldn’t do with their bodies. Let’s take a look at the complicated and fascinating history of breast feeding and infant feeding.
