I can’t
1 out of ever 10 syllables sounds like a creaking floorboard. While I get that there is a market for “history” podcasts like this one—that don’t make you think, yet give you the illusion of learning something—the content is just too trivial/inconsequential to justify subjecting yourself to the unprofessional vocal delivery.

I love the story telling, and storries themselves. The only thing is, I was a youtube-fan originally, and that makes this podcast kind of pointless. If I want to revisit the same content again, I’ll just find it on youtube.

I enjoy the content of this podcast, but the way Lindsay speaks is so grating. It’s like a valley girl hosting a children’s show.

It’s bad enough that the host has a voice best suited for mimework, but that would have been fine if it has been contained to her own podcast. The fact that her screechy tones are now invading actual podcasts I listen to is just torture.
