Narrator does an amazing job of putting into perspective and keeping it entertaining.
I am only 6 episodes in and I have been hooked since episode 1. Some reviews have complained about the narrator, but I love it for the same reasons they complain. The narrator makes it fun, hip and most of all relatable so you get a real understanding of what was really going on. If you want a straightforward history lesson with no interpretation or entertainment then this isn’t for you.

More reviews of History That Doesn't Suck
But repeatedly calling some historical figures by their first names is weird (“Jeff” for Jefferson Davis” but “Lincoln” for Lincoln) and also sometimes confusing.

I've listend to Greg through the Revolutionary War and now into the War of 1812. He's one of the best history storytellers in podcasting, and he's true to historical accuracy. It's always one of the fastest hours you'll have listening to anything.Read full review »
