“I am a huge fan of this podcast, and have been steadily working my way through their episodes over the last few weeks. I returned to tarot reading after a long absence, looking to use the cards as a meditative tool (as opposed to divination). As a podcaster myself, I immediately started looking for a podcast that could help me learn, and this is one of the first that I found. After listening to just one episode, I was hooked!
The big draw for this pod are the hosts. Holly and Esther are such warm personalities, and offset each other perfectly. Holly is the extrovert, loud and proud, and Esther is the quieter introvert with a spine of steel. Both have a great deal of knowledge to share on all things tarot (and Lenormand and oracle decks!), a keen intuition, and a willingness to learn and admit their own lack of experience or knowledge. I really appreciate the way they read cards; they don't make definitive statements, tell you how to feel, or act as if they know the future. They're always clear that these are their personal interpretations, and that really appeals to me as someone drawn to the symbolism of tarot.
I especially appreciate their vulnerability. Esther's journey about her escape from a Christian cult-like upbringing is inspiring and raw without oversharing. When it comes up organically, she doesn't shy away from discussing it, and I really admire her journey. Similarly, Holly has been so open about a sudden death in her family and the window into her grieving process was so familiar to me, and helped me acknowledge some of my own losses. It can be hard to keep your personal life private while also being vulnerable, and I think Holly and Esther have nailed this delicate balance. I appreciate you sharing, ladies!
I think this podcast will appeal to anyone who has an interest in tarot and/or oracle decks. Whether you're a less-woo, skeptic type like myself who is drawn to the symbolism and a new way of meditating, or whether you're 100% woo and fully committed to divinition as a spiritual pratice, you will find something here that appeals to you. At the very least, everyone will love the deck reviews! I have a HUGE list of new artists to follow, and stunning decks that I wish to own. The variety out there really appeals to my little collector's soul.
Really, I can't recommend this podcast enough.”Read full review »

“I love this show! These ladies made me laugh tonight. The conversation about which decks they I would take in a catastrophe readiness kit. It reminded me of 2020. We had ptsd related to hurricane Maria, and a huge sandstorm had crossed the Atlantic for a visit. Then the earth started shaking here...”Read full review »
