“Yeah yeah uh huh yup sure yes yeah yeah.” Such a missed opportunity. The host is clearly connected, getting impressive guests. But her interview style is just so annoying. I tried. Eternal Sunshine is my favorite movie of all time. Couldn’t get through half the episode. Unsubscribe.

“Yeah. Right. Right. Sure. Yeah. Mm hmm. Mm hmm. No way. Right. Uh huh. Yeah. No way. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. Ok. Ok.” Vocal affirmations have their place in pushing a conversation along, to be sure. But the way they’re incorporated here by the host is beyond distracting. I tuned in...Read full review »

I’m glad this podcast exists. It has a lot of value and I love learning different aspects of the filmmaking process. Having said that, though, as I listen to the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind episode (July 17, 2024), I’m bowled over at how many times the host Daniela said “yeah.” It...Read full review »

Enjoy the show but wish the host would stop saying “yeah,” “okay,” “right, ” etc. incessantly as the guest speaks.

I love this podcast. As a filmmaker, it’s inspiring to hear from the producers how the films that have changed and reflect our society were made. Thank you and I look forward to hearing more!

It’s like You Must Remember This for more recent movies, the ones you’ve watched a million times and want to know all the details about. And you get them. Thelma and Louise, The Outsiders episodes have been my favorites so far.

I’ve only listened to half a podcast of the eternal sunshine episode and I’m in love. So insightful, fun, and inspiring. I’m subscribing. But one small constructive criticism. The host needs to stop making noises while the guest speaks. Every second there’s a loud “yea yea yea” “right” “totally”....Read full review »

So painful to get thorough an episode. Please edit the hosts filler words. All throughout the interview for eternal sunshine I kept hearing “yeah, yeah, right, ok, ok, ok, uh huh uh huh”

Insightful and entertaining window into the world of filmmaking. Love Daniela’s voice and personal anecdotes.

Her voice, warmth, fluency in the craft and industry of film are riveting. Her dad’s story of starting out in Hollywood has it all and it’s such a great foundation for her POV. Can’t wait for the next episodes!
