Damien is a rare and important voice in the modern maelstrom - he cares about these ancient and still-relevant institutions. Always an insightful view Thank you Damien!

Damian Thompson has courageously shone a spotlight on the CCP regime’s blackmail that has completely corrupted the Vatican. To save the Catholic Church all CCP regime collaborators must be brought to justice under a new Papacy. An existential fight to save Christianity has begun.

The “blood crazed ferret” (look it up if you don’t get the reference) nails it almost every time. Highly recommended- cheers from Sydney.

Refreshingly to the point when so often religious issues are tainted by cant and cover up. Hope the cardinals are listening.

I was raised as an evangelical Anglican in Sydney. As I grew up so has my religion and my understanding of the world. Thank you for your unapologetic, outspoken, intelligent views on Christianity and its place in the modern world. Albiet with an anglophile edge. Please keep up your thoughtful and...Read full review »

I had to stop listing to the Salafi Muslim episode because of the superior tone of the presenters and the lack of information and context of their supposed “researcher’s” book. If you want to know why people are converting to Islam, go ask a Muslim. Go to the source. And put things in their...Read full review »

On balance, a good podcast offering insight into a wide variety of questions. Liberal minded Catholics and Anglicans will feel especially welcome here. Evangelicals, Presbyterians, bible-based Anglicans, and conservative Catholics will feel less welcome. The male host does come across as...Read full review »

The episode on homosexual marriage was repulsive. Absolutely no conservative, traditionalist voice to enunciate the very sensible proposition that homosexual couples should not marry. Despicable podcast.

Great choice of topics that many wouldn't dare to touch, I could listen to an hour long versions of it :)

The sheer unpleasantness and pomposity of the sanctimonious host is enough to put anybody off.

I get the Spectator podcast, and Holy Smoke was mentioned. I was willing to try it, but am generally sceptical of podcasts about religion since many simply sneer at what is beautiful. Not this one!! Absolutely delightful to listen to. May you produce many more episodes. Richard Patterson
