A Refreshing Take
I spun my wheels with drinking for a year and a half and tried along the way to find some sort of community, book, podcast, or anything that might help, but they all seemed way too distant, inaccessible, or draconian. HOME was the first I stumbled on where everything just clicked, and so many of the questions and thoughts Holly and Laura relate just felt spot on to things I’d been thinking to myself that whole time. Especially helpful is all the talk on what it’s like “on the other side.” As someone who fell more into the “wants to quit” category than the “needs to quit,” the reassurance of what life can be like and how it can go on without alcohol as a crutch has been very helpful. Thanks for the fresh angle on this. It’s much needed.

With no close friends who are sober, listening to Home make me feel more connected to a sober community... :)
