The BEST Homeschooling Podcast
I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this podcast. Fletch and Kendra are funny, insightful, refreshing, real, vulnerable, and incredibly easy to listen to, and they really do pull back the veil on homeschooling and parenting topics I'm eager to hear about but nobody else is talking about. They are committed to the Gospel and to bringing every homeschool topic back around to glorifying Jesus - sometimes by exposing the other "good" things we idolize by putting our hope in those things instead of in God's goodness and mercy. They do a wonderful job of balancing grace and truth, love and a commitment to God's holiness. Many times while listening, I want to throw my hands up in the air and shout "Yes!!" (I usually can't because I'm driving, but I do shout "Yes!!" anyway!) As a side note, the show also seems to be very well produced. The audio is clear and it's easy to hear what the podcasters and guests are saying. That's another plus in my book. In sum, I couldn't possibly recommend Homeschooling IRL enough. My only beef is I wish they had new episodes more often than every other week! If you haven't listened, please do! You'll be encouraged, entertained, and edified, and you'll find yourself giving the show two enthusiastic thumbs up! (Unless you're driving - then you'll have to keep your hands on the wheel. But you might just find yourself wanting to shout "Yes!!")Read full review »

I'm a new listener, but I've been so happy to find this podcast. I appreciate the honesty....especially about not making homeschooling an idol. Keep up the great work!Read full review »

Fletch and Kendra are refreshingly humble and unabashedly candid.

I appreciate this podcast as I have been through Ezzo training, battled Gothardism and other heresies, and now just want to homeschool with positive, truly Godly relationships with my kids. Thanks for putting your story out there.
