“The podcast started out with an interesting premise of whether or not farm and homesteading activities made sense from a financial perspective. The production quality of the podcast is high with good editing and sound effects. Unfortunately, after a couple episodes the show seemed to come off the rails with a fan fiction show and a pledge drive worthy of public television. While I'm all for podcasts making money, passing the hat for subscriptions after a few episodes just seemed premature.
Another annoying thing with this show is that some of the podcasts are in m4a format while others are in mp3. When out doing farm activities, I use an eight year old mp3 player that does not handle m4a files, so I have to convert them before listening.”Read full review »
