Essential listening for any new copywriter
After toying with the idea for several years, I (very) recently decided to knuckle down and become a professional freelance copywriter. Naturally, I began by scouring the internet for information, devouring the wisdom of Ogilvy, Bly, Halbert and many others before I accidentally stumbled upon this podcast. Quite simply, this is where every hopeful freelance copywriter should begin their education! Belinda and Kate provide oodles of helpful information in every bite-size episode. Alongside the mandatory writing tips they provide sage advice on all aspects of running a freelance business. It is this information that I found utterly invaluable. Unlike many business podcasts, the presenters are a delight to listen to. So much so that my err... "friend" has developed something of a schoolboy crush on Kate Toon. Their conversation is light and fun but as free from waffle as you would expect from two pro copywriters. Since I started listening to the podcast about a month ago, I have reeled in my first paying client, secured their repeat business and started using loads of handy processes that I had never even thought of. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is new to copywriting. It has helped me immensely.Read full review »

Episode 50 was great! Could not have been any better timed for me. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the possibilities (and meaning) of branding, but this pod made me feel calm, and focused on branding rather than gimmicks. A helpful listen for all creative freelancers, not just copywriters.Read full review »

I've just listened to a few of Kate & Belinda's podcasts, and I'm pretty impressed. Never really been a podcast listener, but I'm like a kid at Christmas with these ladies—I can't decide which pod to open first. Can hardly wait to listen to the whole lot, and don't doubt I'll learn heaps along...Read full review »
