Eerily Quiet on PayPayl’s Boycotting…
Recycled headlines from 2018… made into a full blown podcast in 2022 by the British. And… nice dogwhistles in Ep 5. SMH. “Talmudic” is not a real word. Inside 1 minute, that word is thrown in, followed by “not Kosher,” “their secret 5 Commandments instead of the usual 10,” then the ole favorite of non-Americans who don’t actually use Yiddish words in their English; “SCHTICK” said with a hefty Shhhh-tick — incase people aren’t picking-up what you’re throwing down about this “foreign word” only thrown around while talking “ruthless bankers.” Tell me, since when did Visa & Mastercard become “bankers?” They’re credit card companies!! How many times can one squeeze in the word “GLOBAL” when talking about PAYMENT PROCESSORS? They’re not humans — they’re corporations. And they’re not owned by those whom you dogwhistle, and it’s so British of you to be so disgusting about it. Interesting how you NEVER mention PayPal ONCE. They single-handedly caused the MOST damage by boycotting sex workers… buuuut they’re owned by Peter Theil, whose an all powerful right-winger actually pulling puppet strings, soooo of course THIS fact gets left on the cutting room floor. Agenda, much? Lastly, how you could allow a performer whose censored for fetishizing mensuration to go unchecked with absolutely no pushback about her misrepresentation and minimization about what she’s doing on the platform, when complaining this move was somehow “sexist,” rather than a policy against a vulgar fetish that IS fundamentally misogynistic — especially when she sardonically goes, “whuh? Did they take womens’ studies, all the sudden?”(which is her taking a dig at actual Feminism, btw) — is further proof Pushkin, yet again, is making content funded by private interests. It’s not Journalism when you’re not being objective, and further, trying to pedal a slant (a targeted harmful conspiracy theory slant) that financially benefits said executive producer. It’s not allowed in print or video media — just waiting for podcasting to finally catch up with journalistic ethics & integrity. I forced myself to finish this podcast (taking a break during your finale to write this review), like I do with every podcast that isn’t so awful I have to immediately stop, but I’m in disbelief you ended on a story already told 4-5 years ago by VICE!!! Lulz.

It's just all advertisements and not much content. I'm realizing now Pushkin isn't about story it's about pushing as many ads as possible until I break down. Well you broke me, I'm not lsiteing anymore.Read full review »
