Hoping for justice
People claim this is racist but I don’t understand how it’s racist to say people who are working there are undocumented. I don’t hear them talk down on the the fact they are undocumented or claim them to be less hard of a working citizen. I’m sure the family and friends were aggressive towards them after being told by their daughter that they would cat call or make her feel uncomfortable. Of course that’s one of the first places you will go to for answers. The narrator should explain that due to being undocumented it’s more difficult to track down potential suspects instead of leaving it up to the people who clearly jump to the most negative conclusion of the racial card. This family is aggressive because their daughter is missing and I can bet everyone on here if their own loved one was missing they wouldn’t be dragging their feet. They would be out there questioning people in the surrounding areas to get answers. Especially due to a language barrier that makes the situation even more frustrating. Missing persons cases need all the information they can get with in the first 24 hours. I hope one day the family gets justice for Jennifer.

This podcast achieved a wonderful balance of compassion yet toughness in dealing with Jen’s parents, friends and law enforcement. This gut wrenching story was familiar but the interviews with her parents brought the pain and longing of these two good people into a very real focus. Blessings to them.
