“I've always enjoyed the Walking Dead podcast they do, so I was excited when I heard that they were going to do one for Game of Thrones as well.
...until Season 5, Episode 6. Listening to two men - specifically Mr. Blagh - try to explain exactly why rape is justified made me sick to my stomach. Doesn't he have daughters? Don't both of the hosts have wives, mothers...? Disgusting. To be fair, Jason apologized for his comments in the subsequent podcast, but I've yet to hear any sort of mea culpa from Mr. Blagh - and that might be because I stopped listening for a while. I tuned in this week because I was really hoping that with a certain character's strength scene in the Season 6, Episode 5 episode that Mr. Blagh might make some sort of amendment to last season's comments, but alas. It was not meant to be. Jason, if you read these reviews, just know that in both the Walking Deadcast and the Game of Microphones podcast, Mr. Blagh is really bringing the quality down - he always comes off as a know-it-all, condescending jerk - and often without cause (p.s. - that's not how grey scale works).
I continued listening to the Walking Deadcast and Fear the Walking Deadcast, and heard that Mr. Blagh is no longer hosting it - so I'm going to try this one again. I would like to say that I'll come back and leave a more favorable review once he's gone.”Read full review »
