“This is a very slow-burn spooky drama where a small group of friends research, argue, investigate, and get terrified. It’s very different from most horror-adjacent podcasts because it all feels very real — the conversations sound like real conversations, the evil people are believably awful, not VILLAINS, and when characters get hurt, it feels real, not “dramatic injury.” It’s definitely a long haul, but I bought into the characters enough to fret all through COVID that it might not come back, but it did! Our main characters are messy, sometimes frustrating people doing their best in a bad place. Try it out, it might be for you!”
