3 words! Boss! History! Lesson!
Mr. Brown let me 1st say that your podcasts are truly informative, entertaining and educational. As a 1st gen Canadian of Jamaican decent I feel your project is an absolutely essential tool for teaching 2nd, 3rd and future gens to come! Born and living in southern Ontario all my life I notice that a lot 1st and 2nd gen Canadians love to say " My parent(s) are Jamaican" or "from back a yard!" with as much pride and swag as they can muster and know next to nothing about their heritage and culture. And until my late teens and early twentys I was one of them. I hope your project changes all that and your hopes of a film/documentary becomes a reality! As I believe that in today's day and age word of mouth and visual media is the best way to get your message across to the "many one people!" and beyond! That being said I will try to tell as many family, friends, and even strangers who would be interested in How Jamaica Conquered the world!!Read full review »

I am a lover of history and I love to learn about about other cultures. This podcast has allowed me to learn more about my own Jamaican culture. I highly recommend this podcast to Jamaicans and non-Jamaicans who want to learn about the small island with the big impact!
