I tried, I couldn't
I was excited to listen to this pod but it really hasn't been an enjoyable listening experience. There is some great content in here, the topics are so important as an ethical traveler, but it isn't presented in a relatable or personable way. It gives me scripted grade 12 french presentation vibes - Kiona doesn't seem passionate about what she's talking about - maybe there's a way to make it more natural? Or maybe this content would just be better kept on her blog. Sorta disappointing and lack luster. I tried to keep giving it a chance and just listened to the sustainbility ep, unfortunately i feel like i walked away learning nothing because i just couldn't connect with herRead full review »

If you have even the tiniest interest in travel you MUST listen to this podcast. Dr. Kiona has done an incredible job of combining her personal experience, well referenced research, and experts into an easy to listen and incredible educational podcast. Can’t wait for more!

Remember those educational shows you watched as a kid, they helped make learning fun? That is what this podcast is, but for adults. Gives me the same feels, but it’s not childish. The material that is presented deals with complex topics, yet they make it feel easy to understand and interesting.
