Koren outshines her guests!
I love this self-empowerment show. What I find incredible and smile worthy is that Koren is often BETTER than her own guests. She's better at summarizing their points and their messages than they are. As a life coach and an academic, I guess that she has often had to condense and simplify difficult concepts in the past. I've found that she often floors her guests with her ability to restate their own messages more tightly and concisely than they do. (I'm talking about YOU, Guy Kawasaki and Danielle LaPorte. And I already love both of you, too!) Also powerful is her mantra/statement of purpose that begins each show. Do this forever, Koren! It's a signature move and an important message. One suggestion: please balance the audio between you and your guests. The guests always sound distant and quiet. I'm forever turning the car radio volume up, then down, then up, then down. Time to sit down with your audio engineer and explore a few technical windows of possibility. My summary: excellent life coach and radio host who restates guests' messages better than they do! Sometimes, the show should be called "How They Really Should Say It!"Read full review »
