A Pleasant Surprise from an Old Friend
Pete and I go way back, so when I stumbled across his podcast as I was perusing his wedding website a month or so ago, I figured I should give it a try. I actually listened to my first episode in the car on the three hour drive to his wedding. It seemed fitting. I love Pete, but my life exists far from the management consultant/productivity/optimization sphere in which Pete cozily dwells, so I figured one episode would probably be enough. The episode I listened to was #91 with Michael Dolan, and as I listened, I was suprised at how engaged I got. Pete is a great interviewer, and there was a lot of useful and even inspirational information in that episode. I'm now officially a fan of the show, and even though Pete, in true Pete fashion, puts out episodes at a breakneck speed, I am enjoying trying to keep up. In each episode, there is at least one line that sticks with me for days, and I have the added bonus of a vicarious chat with an old friend. Great podcast!Read full review »
