These guys are naturals
This has to be one of the most intriguing podcasts ever produced. Danny and Darren paint such a vivid picture of real people and events with such captivating authenticity, that it’s impossible to stop listening. The longstanding friendship between the hosts is palpable in their witty banter throughout the show; their dynamic as co-hosts just makes the ride so much more fascinating. They have a rare ability to take a very serious subject (a mentally ill parent) and make it engaging and relatable to anyone listening. There’s no pretense or overproduced frivolity in this podcast- it’s just a pure and unfiltered glimpse into the personal lives of real people from the perspective of two very brilliant, eloquent hosts who lived them. I enjoy many podcasts, but I can’t think of any that make me more excited for the next episode than this one. What an incredible production on every level.

I must commend this podcast for its gripping depiction of the experience of growing up with a narcissistic father. It is terrifying but told in a dark comedic that is simply brilliant! Bravo! I cannot help but love it

Really enjoying so far. I’m 10 years older than you and grew up in the same place. Bristol’s! Wow. Blast from the past.
