Why Spotify?
Good, relevant, educated podcast overall. However, I’m surprised that they (and Gimlet in general) would choose Spotify as their host if they were truly serious about reducing human impacts to climate change. Spotify has a “D” rating on the Click Clean report, one of the worst on the report for streaming services. I instead use Apple (with an “A” rating) and make sure to download the episode rather than streaming it. I hope they cover this in a future episode- the podcast “IRL” had a really good show about this topic, but with all the streaming happening it needs more widespread coverage. I am knocking off one star for choosing Spotify. Edit: I’m knocking off another star for moving exclusively to Spotify. I am not going to add another app for podcasts, and especially not for this one. It’s an okay podcast, but not worth Spotifying. See ya, HTSAP. It’s been real.

More reviews of How to Save a Planet
This is such an educational, helpful, and somehow hopeful and also honest look at the state or our planet and the efforts and challenges we face as we try to protect what remains. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone.

Importantly also, it’s NOT condescending to the many people who may not believe in...Read full review »

love this podcast. so informative about climate change and it’s affects but also entertaining. would love it if you would do more episodes about different renewable energy sources like the one about offshore wind.
