Climate change is super scary and we seem doomed. This FACT drove me to antidepressants, even with the doom and gloom of this topic the podcast is pretty uplifting, thanks guys! I love it! Bring it back to apple!!!!

I normally avoid sustainability-related podcasts, because I work in this area, and I only need so much bummer, but this one has really stuck for me. Upbeat without sugar-coating.

Depression and anxiety and your emotions will always take you over. Let this sink in. I don’t know what’s sadder: this is the truth or maybe that half the people I told deny it. P.S. this was just fun to write

Excellent episodes. I miss it since you switched to Spotify! Please bring it back to Apple Podcasts.

I love this podcast - but I’m sad to see it removed from Apple podcasts. I don’t really use Spotify :(

The hosts are magnificent and the topics are groundbreaking. I share the one on talking with family about climate with everybody I know.

Alex promised when Gimlet was acquired by Spotify that some new podcasts would be made exclusive to Spotify, but open podcasts made by Gimlet would remain so. Sadly, it wasn't true.Read full review »

If I’d known ahead of time this would one day require installing an app with trackers to listen to I never would have started listening to this otherwise wonderful podcast.

Low science, low imagination, low reporting on new breakthroughs in renewable energy and carbon capture, low signal to noise. 4 episodes. As an Alex Blumburg fan, I had high hopes and about as disappointed as possible. Skip it.

Energy engineer and fellow climate science geek here. This was one of my favorite shows. My 9 year old and I listened every week. I even contacted Climate Friendly Supermarkets to have them update their database to reflect my local Coop store with CO2-based green refrigerant which wasn’t listed,...Read full review »

My daughter sent me your podcast and I began listening on my drive to Minnesota and back. This podcast has given great information about the challenges we face but also provides solutions and ideas so I can finally feel i can make a difference. Thk u.

Great podcast, too bad I hate Spotify so much I won’t know how to save a planet after they move. It was fun while it lasted.

Great podcast! However, I won’t be following you to Spotify. Seems like moving to a single platform is a good way to lose listeners. I hope to see you come back.
AgentTid3 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 07/31/21
I like this podcast but I’m not changing my entire podcast listening habit to follow one podcast to Spotify, so this will be my last episode. I hate when companies pull these kind of monopoly moves, I’ll never listen to any podcasts on Spotify.

I love this show so much and love listening to the conversation and discussions, however I am upset that it is moving exclusively to Spotify. By switching you are not allowing your show to be as heard as it could be if you kept it streaming on all podcast platforms. I won’t be following to...Read full review »

This show started out great. Now they constantly post episodes from other podcasts and re-post old episodes instead of making new content. If I wanted to listen to other podcasts, I would subscribe to them. If I wanted to hear an episode again, I could just replay it from the feed. This show has...Read full review »

Why so many encore episodes?? Great podcast otherwise, I just hope you guys would make more new episodes.

ANOTHER replay? Your show isn’t even a year old. I used to LOVE this show, but lately it’s been all replays of old episodes and episodes of other shows. That’s lazy. Replaying old episodes only works if you have hundreds of episodes and you’re choosing one from years ago that most new followers...Read full review »

Boo! I wish this wasn’t moving exclusively to Spotify; I’ll have to listen to as many episodes here as possible before then, as I don’t plan to switch my podcast app. That said, I have signed up for the newsletter. This is a great podcast that looks at action on climate change in a more hopeful light and made me feel less hopeless and helpless. But it’s moving to Spotify exclusively soon so probably not worth getting into at this point.
hiiamanian via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/21
I am very disappointed about the move to be Spotify exclusive. It looks like I’ll be forced to give up one of my favourite podcasts. Of all the shows, I figured this would be one that needs to be as accessible as possible - which makes this move all the more disappointing.
jayrdann via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/08/21
I have loved listening to this podcast and am sorry that you are moving to a single platform. It’s so sad that you aren’t spreading your message as far as possible by making it available on many platforms. It feels like a sellout, to be honest.
Carpelit via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 07/07/21
Good, relevant, educated podcast overall. However, I’m surprised that they (and Gimlet in general) would choose Spotify as their host if they were truly serious about reducing human impacts to climate change. Spotify has a “D” rating on the Click Clean report, one of the worst on the report for...Read full review »

Long time listener to Gimlet and Alex. Not going to download Spotify as its not where I listen to podcasts..the whole concept of podcasts was about a medium where you were not forcing people to use a specific platform. Sadly Alex who once believed in this same concept as well

I have enjoyed this podcast (though I listen to only the episodes with topics that interest me, not all of them), so I am sorry to learn it will soon be available only on Spotify. They delete reviews. I really thought I’d like this podcast and did at first. I like this podcast and I like Spotify, I pay for it. What I don’t like is using Spotify for podcasts. In the recent episode they announced they’re going to move to Spotify in August.
