“This excellent podcast really stands out for the quality of its engaging and naturalistic style. The hosts do a fantastic job of making the conversations intelligible without sounding artificially stilted, monotone, or "dumbed down". I find this natural, conversational style both easier to follow and more entertaining--which for me go hand in hand, as I can better follow any spoken Spanish when the speaker is dynamic and engaging and clearly interested in what they're communicating, and I expect it's the same for most people (and even when my comprehension is lower than I'd like I still manage to follow the gist without tuning out because I'm still engaged). But I fully appreciate that successfully doing this while keeping the language level-appropriate is a lot harder than you might think! However, these folks have nailed it.”Read full review »
