“When I first started listening to HWR I wasn’t entirely sure, I’d never really been exposed to anything Lovecraftian let along call of cuthulu and I was used to high fantasy D&D podcasts. However after finishing the first episode I knew that I would end up listening to the whole thing. I’m about halfway through the backcatalogue now.
The players are all brilliant, getting very into the roles of their characters, the DM is an excellent storyteller, I have had to stop listening to it a number of times to turn on the lights because I get scared or jumpy because of the audio I’m listening to.
Seriously, give this a listen.”
