Big questions, energetic engagement
Bart explores what it means to be a good person from the perspective of a secular humanist. While I identify as a progressive Christian, goodness is discussed here in such a way that it doesn't alienate me as a listener. It even draws me in, as the subject matter is relevant to my faith. A few areas I would like to see the podcast grow: (1) A greater diversity of guests. A white man talking to another white man each episode perhaps reinforces stereotypes about secular philosophy. (2) A more consistent release schedule. I like to know when I will be able to expect new content, and I think this will help the podcast grow in listeners. (3) More interaction with listeners. Invite us to write in, and select a few questions to discuss each week with your guest. This will also go a long way in keeping us engaged. Thanks for a cool podcast! Maybe try to find some sponsors so you can continue doing this.Read full review »

I have had the good fortune to read Bart Campolo’s book and hear him speak in person, in addition to this podcast, and he is engaging in all three media. Bart, a former evangelical minister, is now a humanist chaplain. He offers pastoral care, advice, and help, but without any supernatural...Read full review »
