Terrific podcast
I’ve really enjoyed listening to Bart Campelo’s Humanize Me podcast (ever since it was originally titled the Wonder-Full podcast), and I believe I’ve heard every one. He is very thoughtful, funny, and engaging. He’s also very articulate and I find myself thinking “wow, that really articulates what I’m thinking but couldn’t put into words,” or “wow, I don’t think I ever would’ve come up with that insight on my own, but it really resonates with me.” His warmth and affection towards people in general constantly comes through. I think my favorite episodes are the ones where he is talking with his son Roman (which I believe are Wonder-Full episode 1, which you might have to find on his website [bartcampolo dot org] since it doesn’t seem to be here in iTunes as I review this, and Humanize Me episode 103). Another favorite was the episode where he interviewed Massimo Pigliucci (episode 107?). What is it about? How to live well and flourish as a secular person (particularly for those who used to be religious), and how to positively contribute to a healthier society. And if you like this, also check out Ryan Bell’s “Life After God” podcast. Bart & Ryan are friends and each one has a podcast episode where they interview the other.

As a non-believer who did get caught up in the aggressive beat people over the head with facts atheist movement but has now chilled out, Bart gives such a wonderful perspective and compassionate viewpoint on how positive secular humanism can be. I really enjoy his wisdom and approach to life....Read full review »
