The good and bad of nerd world
5by5.tv and host Dan Benjamin have an outstanding line-up of podcasts. But Hypercritical, co-hosted by longtime tech blogger John Siracusa, has to take the cake as the absolute best. John hasn't fallen in love with any particular company so he has one of the more clear-eyed views of what is going on and what it means, particularly in Apple-land. He's also extremely knowledgable about the history of personal computing and the Internet, so he provides good context to understand current events better.Read full review »

5by5 is quality across the board. Dan Benjamin's podcast empire cannot be hyped enough and Hypercritical is a superlative example. It has a unique flavour from the rest, it is full of informative discussion, it is ridiculously listenable, and it is wonderfully cathartic for geeks.Read full review »
